Are you scared to set GOALS?

Are you scared to set GOALS?

There is no shortage of books and programs out there on how to set and accomplish goals.

Is there only one way to do it? NO. Because everyone is so different and brings such a dynamic difference to this world, there are numerous ways to achieve goals, accomplish dreams and become the greatest version of you.

I’m a huge advocate of setting and achieving goals. Without the ‘end in mind’ we as humans take the easier way out of obstacles, challenges and difficult things. In other words without a big WHY, its easy to take the path of least resistance.

I’ve graduated from high school and college, spent two years in a third world country serving a mission for my church, played in the NFL, won a Super Bowl Ring with the New England Patriots, accomplished many of my financial goals, obtained 4 of my dream cars, lived in 2 dream homes and have recently written a book. I am happily married to the love of my life and we have two beautiful sons. I have experienced much success early in my life. I’ve also experienced much failure which I view and welcome as my stepping stones and lessons.

Here’s how I have done it. Again, what I have done might not work for you but then again it might. You never know until you take action and give it a shot.

It’s your responsibility to take ACTION!

1. Figure out exactly what you want and desire. More money, a new car, to graduate from college, get married etc. and WRITE IT DOWN. Read it daily. Let it be on your mind 24/7. If you don’t believe it’s possible, you have major issues to solve and that will be for another time.

2. Commit to it. Once you write it down COMMIT to it! If you don’t COMMIT to it, you’ll NEVER accomplish it. Success and achievement are not by chance or accident. “When a Creator Commits to something, it’s over said and done!” Commitment is required for any success.

99.9% commitment means failure. Are you 100% Committed to the intention?

99.9% commitment means failure. Are you 100% Committed to the intention?

3. Create a Plan of ACTION. If your goal is to lose x amount of lbs or body fat, what’s the specific plan of action? Write it down. Eat this x times per day, don’t eat this. Drink x amount of water per day, exercise x amount of times per week, hire a nutritionist etc. This is the PLAN to obtain it.

4. Don’t be scared to tell people about. Blog about it. Tell your friends, your spouse and those close to you. They will be your encouragers, supporters and cheerleaders. If you’re scared to tell people what your goals are, then you are scared that you might not accomplish it. Tell people who you TRUST and ADMIRE so you aren’t casting pearls before swine.

5. Make course corrections and press forward. You will have days where you doubt yourself. MOVE FORWARD. You will have days where you don’t feel like DOING anything..MOVE FORWARD. You will have days that you don’t accomplish anything…MOVE FORWARD. Course corrections allow you to evaluate your current plan and make adjustments.

6. NEVER QUIT. If you quit, you lose. If you keep going and persisting, the opportunities to learn and grow and discover are endless and infinite.

Become the type of person who doesn't quit or give up.

Become the type of person who doesn't quit or give up.

7. Surround yourself with greatness. Great books, great movies, great music, great supporters etc. Stay inspired. Get in the mood of what it will feel like once you have accomplished it as if you have done it already. The vibration that you are in will surely help bring it to you or repel it.

8. Take it to the Lord. God can do so much with our lives than we can by ourselves. Get in tune with Deity. Trust in Him. Whether you believe in God, or any other supreme being He is there and He is the God of the Universe. Surely he can guide you and inspire you and help make the proper course corrections.

9. Make sure you have the right tools and knowledge to accomplish this. If you were building a house and only have a couple of spoons and a hammer, you might be able to get it done….eventually. But with the right tools, the house can be built swiftly, safely and a lot sooner than later. Tools, systems, knowledge and skills are all crucial to obtaining your desired goal.

10. Stop, step back and CELEBRATE any notable accomplishments. Enjoy the journey. Success is in the journey. I have a Super Bowl ring that means so much to me because I EARNED IT. If it was given to me without work, it would mean very little. Enjoy the daily successes. Celebrate milestones and accomplishments. Celebrate Daily!

yes you canA person without a goal is like a ship without a destination. It will be at the mercy of the elements, the circumstance and situation. A person with a goal is like a ship with a destination who will persist, steer, sail and move in accordance so every action, movement and direction is towards the goal.

Do Work and by the way…YES YOU CAN!

Confused About What Your Greatest Asset Is To Prosper?

Confused About What Your Greatest Asset Is To Prosper?

In 2003 I sat in a hotel room in Alabama all alone, officially retired from football and wondering what to do next. I was financially broke even though I had a college degree in one hand and a Super Bowl Ring on the other.

I read Robert Kiyosaki’s best selling Rich Dad Poor Dad. I was floored.

His book talks about how rich people buy assets and how poor people buy liabilities. An asset as he defined it is ’something that puts money in your pocket’ and a liability is ’something that takes money out of your pocket. Great concept that I began to follow and within a year I made my first 6 figures. I just kept buying assets.

I more than doubled it within a year and then tripled that a year later. I was an asset millionaire by 2007.

‘But what is YOUR greatest asset? Your home? Your bank account? Your investments?

What puts money in your pocket?

Let me propose an idea that was life altering for me and allowed me to reach millionaire status by age 30 (which isn’t as hard you think).

The greatest asset for you is….well, YOU! My greatest asset is ME! You are the greatest single factor in obtaining wealth, success and riches or poverty, mediocrity and misery.

“PEOPLE ARE ASSETS, things are not” taught one of my mentors.

Money is a result. Money is a byproduct. Money is an effect. Money is a stewardship. Money is an idea. Overall, money is the outcome of creating value for other people. To drill down more specifically on creating value there are three aspects of money or another words used for it is capital.

In my book MoneyBoxSystems I share one of the biggest secrets of creating WEALTH. It is simply to increase your HUMAN CAPITAL (intelligence, skills, knowledge, value, energy, desires) so that you can turn around and create value which then brings value to you. Simply put “Dollars follow value.”

Financial capital is the outcome, result, byproduct and effect of what?

Let me  fill in the blanks.

Financial capital is the outcome, result, byproduct and effect of the combination of 1. Spiritual Capital 2. Intellectual Capital 3. Relationship Capital and 4. Action Capital.

When you learn how to combine these four effectively you always get Financial Capital. If you’re lacking in Financial Capital which most people today are, then go and increase, utilize and maximize your other capital. You’re financial capital will grow unexpectedly faster than you can imagine.

So go to work. Increase your Spiritual Capital (your relationship with Deity, your ability to know the Master’s plan for you, your ability to be led, to be inspired and to be unstoppable and to tap into your divinely appointed gifts and talents).

Increase your Intellectual Capital (your knowledge, your skills, your unique ideas, your unique thoughts, ).

Increase your relationship capital (network, friends, relationships, people you know and people who know you). “Your net worth increases in proportion to your network.”

Increase your Action Capital which by the way is usually the most lacking. (taking action on ideas, implementing strategies, building models of business, doing work, working and working harder and longer).

What are you doing today to increase your Human Capital?

Are you like the doctors who used to kill?

Are you like the doctors who used to kill?

I was reminded this past week of how doctors used to kill almost everyone who walked into the hospital. It’s true. People checked into the hospital, but wouldn’t check out. They were carried out in body bags.

How did this happen? Doctors nor humans were AWARE of something called a GERM. Imagine that? These trained professionals who were entrusted to take care of our loved ones and sick ones were actually killing them. They carried these GERMS unknowingly in their hands and clothes from patient to patient which carried the killing bacteria into the very people they were trying to save.

How are WE like these doctors of old?

We walk around sabotaging our own lives and happiness because we aren’t fully AWARE of our own ‘GERMS’ that are killing our relationships, success and happiness.

When an individual has a BLIND SPOT in their life they are blind to the very thing that is harming them because they CANNOT see it.

Our ‘GERMS’ today that kill range from selfishness, pride, anger, impatience, negative talk, pessimism, doubt, worry, disbelief, fear, materialism, worldliness, being easily distracted, trying to please everyone, laziness, over eating, unhealthy living, lack of direction, lack of skills.

A father who has little or no patience and takes his anger out on his wife and children. He is not AWARE of how bad his anger is killing his relationships with loved ones. Until he becomes AWARE of the real problem (which He is the problem) he will destroy his relationships and then wonder why he has no real friends and why no one trusts him.

A young lady who continually speaks negatively about herself lessens her chance to find happiness in a relationship. Although she knows that she is always speaking negatively about herself, she is not fully AWARE that her negative and pessimistic self talk is only draining the positive and strong life force out of her. Then she walks around wondering why guys don’t ask her out or why she isn’t in a relationship and why she isn’t happy. Her views and beliefs about herself are her self destructive germs.

A Young Entrepreneur who thinks and believes only in terms of win-lose, lose-win and Scarcity walks around striving to succeed but at the cost of others losing. He believes that the only way for him to succeed is for others to lose. His scarcity mentality are his self destructive germs.

These three individuals are just a few examples of how most people sabotage themselves. Until you become AWARE of the real problem, you merely put band aids on cancerous tumors or deep wounds. Obviously that doesn’t work. You cannot fix that which you aren’t AWARE of.

Most people like these three individuals have deceived themselves into thinking that they are doing their ‘best’. They are self-deceived thinking that they are doing the right thing for the right reason.

There is almost nothing worse than thinking and believing that you are doing amazing and great things all the while you are sabotaging yours and others success because of self deception.

Get rid of your blind spots and you’ll skyrocket to that which you seek.

Ask and you shall receive. Those who know you best can help you discover those ‘GERMS’ and most likely once you’re AWARE of them, you’ll know exactly what needs to be done to eliminate them.

Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments

Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments

The story of Moses and the Ten Commandments is well known amidst Christianity members and thanks to Charlton Heston, much of the world knows about Moses and the Ten Commandments.

I loved that movie as a little kid. I loved seeing the miracles from the Lord as the children of Israel were delivered from Pharaoh and from their years of slavery under the Egyptian ruler.

What used to bug me was the fact that these people had seen so many miracles in their lives while Moses worked on having Pharaoh “let [His] people go” and then when faced with another obstacle such as the Red Sea they forgot the Lord.

Here’s a list of some of the miracles that the people had seen.

  1. Moses turned the Nile into blood.
  2. Moses turned the rod into a serpent.
  3. Moses smote all the borders of Egypt with frogs.
  4. Moses smote the dust of the earth and became lice.
  5. Moses sent a grievous mourner upon the cattle, the Egyptians cattle died but the Israelite did not.
  6. Moses smote the Egyptians by the dust of the furnace.
  7. Moses sent rain of hail.
  8. Moses sent locusts over Egypt.
  9. Moses sent darkness in all the land of Egypt for 3 days.
  10. God said, every first born in the land of Egypt from Pharaoh to the first born of the maidservant, and all first born of the beast would die, and they did.

Finally, Pharaoh obeyed and let the Israelite children go. They traveled in the wilderness only to have Pharaoh and his chariots come upon them. This is where it gets very interesting. The people began to murmur, complain and lose faith.

Now wait a darn minute here. We see and the people just saw at least 10 miracles from the Lord. Why are they complaining? How fast we as human beings forget?

The Lord blesses us when we obey Him. He guides us through trial and tribulation. He hears and answers prayers. He carries us. He loves us.

I know we all have witnessed God’s hand in our life as many times as there are stars in the sky.

But when faced with our own Red Sea what do we do? Most of us murmur like the short-memory Israelites did.

Do we FORGET what great things the Lord has done for us and see only the Red Sea which represents the trial, or the situation, or the circumstance that looks impossible.

Today’s Red Seas include:

  • Poor economy with an ever increasing depletion of savings
  • Job loss with no visible way to get by and pay bills
  • Getting ready to have a baby with no job and no insurance
  • Physical ailments that steal away our loved ones from this life
  • Not knowing how to overcome debts, discouragement, misery
  • Growing up with abuse, neglect and malnutrition be it physical, spiritual, emotional, financial
  • Having no end in sight through a bitter divorce
  • Wondering how you’re going to pay next months bills, put food on the table, put gas in the car
  • Stressing and worrying about finances, bills, money etc.
  • Wondering where the next paycheck will come from

Look, I do understand what it is like to face a Red Sea. I have faced many and currently am standing with my feet in my own Red Sea.

But what I share with you today is NOT about how big and how bad and how impossible my own Red Sea look.

Do you BELIEVE God is a God of miracles? He can depart our Red Seas or He might command us to build a ship but either way, He is there.

Do you BELIEVE God is a God of miracles? He can depart our Red Seas or He might command us to build a ship but either way, He is there.

My focus today is that the Lord can part those red seas for us. My focus today is that with the Lord, nothing is impossible. My focus is about Faith, being believing and trusting in a God who is not a novice or as Elder Maxwell says “is not a One-World God.”

“Tragedies should increase and strengthen our faith, not deteriorate it.” Says Elder Eyring.”Most times God will not take the trial away form us or us away from the trial. Rather He will take us through the trial so we can learn, grow and become more like His son.”

I have faced so many situations in the past couple years that were like Red Seas. But instead of focusing on the Red Sea, I kept my focus on the Lord. My faith is tried and tested and when we exercise our faith in the moment of the Red Sea we face or the Goliath we face, that is the moment our faith grows and we can witness the hand of God in our lives.

Faith is easy when life is easy. We really don’t need faith if life is easy.

But remember this: Just as the children of Israel saw miracles and then forgot, we can in the moment of difficulty and despair REMEMBER the great things the Lord has done for us so we avoid the pitfall the Israelites fell into so many times.

If you’re living true to what you know is right, and you’re asking and you’re praying and believing, then shut up and stop complaining and stop saying faithless statements like I used to say and even now am tempted to say like:

“Where is the Lord?” or “What did I do wrong?” or “Has the Lord forgotten me?” or “I guess the Lord wants me to suffer.”

Instead of showing faithlessness,  ask questions such as “What am I to learn from this? Who can I help right now? What am I lacking so that I may fix it and qualify for the Lord’s help?” You can express gratitude as well. You can ask for more patience and faith.

Life is too short to be faithless. Life is too short to lose sight of the bigger picture. Life is too short to forget God.

To say this simply, Faith is believing and knowing something is true even though you can’t see it. If you truly believe God answers prayers, then wait on Him and trust in His timing. Stop talking non-sense that only shows little or no faith.

“Be still and know that I am God.” D&C 101:16

Most times seeing with our physical eyes is deceiving because we cannot see with our physical eyes all that God has in store for us.

My ever supportive beautiful amazing wonderful wife!

My ever supportive beautiful amazing wonderful wife!

With the Israelites it almost appeared as if they were going to die. But the Lord answered them.

With us, BE PATIENT and be proactive and assertive in doing all the good you can. My wife has been instrumental in helping me to be patient and to wait upon the Lord. That is one of the many reasons I married her. She is amazing! I thank my God daily and sometimes hourly for her.

“Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36

10 Steps to Follow When You Arrive at Your Own Red Sea:

  1. Pray mightily and weary the Lord with your pleadings
  2. Be faithful and listen
  3. Ask productive questions such as “What can I learn? What do I lack? Who am I to help? What would you have me do?” etc.
  4. Eliminate all negative talk and negative questions and pity party speeches
  5. Be Still, Fast, Study the Good Word of God
  6. Write in your Journal and list ALL of YOUR BLESSINGS-Count Your Blessings
  7. Do all things with a cheerful and glad countenance and SERVE other people
  8. Express Gratitude for EVERYTHING! Not just the good things.
  9. Watch positive movies that inspire faith, hope and belief-Facing the Giants, Faith Like Potatoes, Fireproof, Charly, Invincible, Meet the Robinsons, Rudy, The Pursuit of Happyness etc. I’m sure you have a list of great movies that bring about positive, Strong-force attractors in your life and if you don’t, start with these. Read books that inspire as well. Seeing and reading about others who overcame is instrumental in helping me push forward. Listen to powerful, positive and uplifting and edifying music.
  10. Keep a journal of all that you are going through so you can help others when they go through it. Recognize and record each day at least one miracle that you saw from the Lord and experienced with Him.

“All things are possible unto him that believeth.”

I’d love to hear your comments and insights. They will surely help me and those facing their Red Seas and those traveling through it now.

If This Was You and Your Child, Would You Get the Result No Matter What or Would You Make Excuses?

If This Was You and Your Child, Would You Get the Result No Matter What or Would You Make Excuses?

I just finished watching Will Smith’s Pursuit of Happyness. It’s the story that is based on the true events from the life of Chris Gardener. I heard Chris speak two years ago and was deeply touched.

What an awesome movie! Inspiring and touching to say the least. I watched it twice in two days while working on my business.

It’s powerful because you have this man who will not quit not matter what.

You have this man who will not be distracted.

You have this man who will not fail regardless of the situations and the circumstances.

How many obstacles did he face?

His wife left him.

He was thrown in jail.

He was kicked out of his apartment.

He failed miserably at selling those machines.

He lived in shelters and on the streets.

He had little or no money at time.

He slept in bathrooms, on the street and endured.

I could go on and on.

What did I learn from the story of Chris Gardener played by Will Smith? I was reminded of many but I’ll share two.

1.  If you really want something, you’ll do anything and everything (ethical and moral) to obtain it.

At anytime in his life he could have quit and blamed it on circumstance, situation, other people, his wife, the color of his skin….BUT HE DIDN’T. People say they really want something  but when it comes to doing what it takes to get it, they won’t do it.

When I played football and wanted to be the best I could, I trained 4 days a week, ate like a horse, ran hard even through the pain of the lactic acid in my legs and even though my lungs felt like they were going to explode.

When I wanted to learn how to play the piano, I spent between 50-70 hours a week practicing. In the beginning of ANYTHING, all your energy and focus must be in the same direction.

When I committed to losing weight (which by the way i am 40 lbs lighter and down to 15% body fat) I didn’t let anything or anyone distract me.

How bad do you want what you want?

Do you even know what really want? Take time to write down exactly what you want and the price you’re willing to pay to do it.

If someone offering you a million dollars to shovel poop for 1 year 50 hours a week would you do it? Well, Chris Gardener shoveled the poop and kept shoveling so to speak. We all have a price to pay, are you willing to pay the price?

2.  Success Is A Decision, A Journey and a Result

Have You Felt Like This Before? Wondering What You're Going To Do to Make Another Day? Keep Moving Forward.

Have You Felt Like This Before? Wondering What You're Going To Do to Make Another Day? Keep Moving Forward.

Chris Gardener never let failure stop him. In fact, he learned from each ‘failure’ and continued to move forward. How many of us stop after one attempt and failure?  Sad to say most people in Chris’s situation would have failed and quit and given up.

Becoming the right person is the KEY. This right person is what I call becming a CREATOR!

A Creator does what he/she has committed to do NO MATTER WHAT.

A Creator doesn’t make reasons or excuses, they simply get the RESULT. It’s Reasons or Results, can’t be both.

A Creator creates maximum value in all situations regardless of circumstance. Are circumstances and situations stopping you from achieving and obtaining goals? If so, you’ll be stopped no matter what. If discomfort and fear of failure is holding you back from achieving massive success, you’ll be stopped all the time. If fear of what other people think is stopping you from doing what you feel would make a difference in the lives of others, you’ll be miserable most of your life.

Once you figure out exactly what you want, commit to it, set a plan, move forward, course correct and keep moving forward.

As seen in the movie, Chris Gardener NEVER STOPPED BELIEVING, MOVING AND WORKING. If you stop and quit, you fail. Remember that because in the journey of life most people stop and quit then wonder why their life is mediocre at best.

If you keep believing, keep moving, keep searching, keep asking, keep learning, keep working and keep enduring, you’ll find success.

Success is deliberately choosing what you truly desire, then embarking on that journey with a good plan in hand that most never take because of fear, doubt, lack and worry.

Success comes as a result of following the laws and principles that success is based upon. Success like everything else in life follows laws and principles.

Look at every successful person from family, relationships, sports, business, money and on and on. They all follow a set of guideliness and principles that aren’t secrets to most but most act like it’s a secret to find prosperity and success.

Here’s the bottom line:

Doing what it takes No Matter What?

Doing what it takes No Matter What. Are You?

Are you becoming the type of person who will succeed NO MATTER WHAT or will you make excuses and reasons as to why you can’t and shouldn’t succeed?

Are you willing to pay a hefty price to achieve happiness, prosperity and abundance or will you give in to the circumstances and situations of the daily rigors of life?

I already know how my story ends. I know what awaits me. It’s like watching a movie on the big screen. We knew Chris Gardner would succeed. It was just a matter of watching him go through the ups and downs of what he did to get there. For me, it’s just a matter of going through the script of the ’story’ to become that type of person who attracts and creates success. But I already know in my mind and heart how my life movie ends. This allows me to find joy each and every day.

Can you envision the story of your life and how it’s unfolding?

Do one thing today to make a change in your life. Be a person of your word. Set a goal and do it no matter what. Exercise. Read and study more. Pray more. Serve more. Throw aside the things that are keeping you from becoming a true Creator.

Yesterdays beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions brought today’s results. Today’s beliefs, thoughts, feelings and actions bring tomorrow’s results.

Will you pay the price for Prosperity?

Will you pay the price for Prosperity?

Prosperity and wealth do NOT start in the material world.

Poor people, people with the Destroyer mindset always believe and think that they are poor until they have ‘things’.

Rich people, people with the Creator and Abundance mentality know that prosperity and wealth always starts in the mind and then manifests itself in the physical world.

How do I Become Wealthier and How do I Prosper?

If you wanted to be a great baseball player would you go and learn from a football player? Obviously you wouldn’t.

So if you want to learn how to be rich, model your life after rich people. If your paradigm is such that rich people are greedy or selfish or whatever other fallacies that you have, you’ll need to start with your beliefs and change those.

I highly recommend T. Harv Ecker’s “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. There are numerous books out there that will teach you how to switch your ‘thinking’.

Let’s move on.

Rich people believe money is important therefore they do things that allow them to make money. They’re blueprint is set for wealth, not poverty. Creators understand that wealth and prosperity come as a result of creating value, blessing other people and serving effectively in the world.

I’ve heard too many people say “It’s not about the money” or “I don’t have to be rich” or “Rich people are just greedy” or “All he thinks about is money.” Clearly these people are BROKE!

If you want to learn how to be a blacksmith, go and learn from a blacksmith.

If you want to learn how to be a blacksmith, go and learn from a blacksmith.

Change your paradigm, your beliefs about money and you will change your life when it comes to money.

If you want more money, I would start first with your mindset. If your mindset is wrong, you’ll always lose no matter how much money you have.

Again, what thoughts do you have right now about this

The purpose of business today is to solve people’s problems at a profit. It is to create value for other people.

When people ask me “How do I make more money?” I usually tell them to forget about making money and start creating value for others. Dollars always follow value.

When you solve problems for other people, you can get mightily rich. Which you bring pleasure to people (value) you can become very rich IF you have learned how to operate and be part of a business.

Law of Awareness States that you can only change something when you are aware of it.

The best way is to learn from people who are already rich, successful, humble, happy etc. It’s really simple. If you already knew how to do it you’d be doing it already. People spend thousands and tens of thousands of dollars on getting their education.  Then when they graduate and leave school they never read a book again or they go to a job and make $50k a year and then retire when they get older and wonder why they never made ‘enough’ money to do all the things they really wanted to do.

Before all the technology and formal education that we have today our country followed a model that really worked. If you wanted to become a blacksmith you didn’t go and sit in classroom for four years to learn how to do it. You found an expert or professional blacksmith who was DOING IT and you became his apprentice. Then you learned how to become a blacksmith by. . . that’s right, by doing.

“We learn to do by doing.”

Your roots determine your fruits! What type of roots do you have? Are they deep, abundant, love, faith, service or are they doubt, fear, lack, scarcity and poverty?

Your roots determine your fruits! What type of roots do you have? Are they deep, abundant, love, faith, service or are they doubt, fear, lack, scarcity and poverty?

I’ve spent more money on books, programs, seminars, education DVD’s, CD’s, audios in the last 3 years than I did my whole life. I learn from the experts.

I do what they ask me to do. I take action. I speak reality statements. I meditate and ponder. I write my goals down, commit to them, make a plan and move forward with necessary course corrections.

The more you learn about money, what it is, how to earn more, why we have it, the more you put yourself in position to have dollars follow.

What are you waiting for? Change your life today! Life is too short to be in the clutches of poverty and scarcity.

Until you change your money blueprint, prosperity will always be just around the corner and you’ll never get there.

Make the change today.

Someday is TODAY or its never. Someday is TODAY or its never!

Whatever is holding you back from really living, get rid of it and move forward. It is up to you and whether you believe that or not, it doesn’t matter.

Life will pay you exactly what you put into it and believe it to be.

Why Is Money Elusive For Most People?

Why Is Money Elusive For Most People?

This is part 3 in a series entitled “Making $309k A Year and Still Broke”

Part I

Part II

Enjoy Part III…

So how do you change your ingrained beliefs and actually start making and keeping money?

What governs money? What laws and principles are money dependent on? I’ll tell you.

Dollars follow _________.

It’s all begins your mind. Your paradigm (opinions, beliefs, assumptions) will determine your financial wealth. T. Harv Ecker calls it your Money Blueprint.

If your Paradigm or Blueprint is of scarcity, lack, doubt and set at a low level, you’re doomed to financial poverty. . . NO MATTER WHAT!

Win the lottery and have a paradigm of scarcity, lack and doubt…you’ll lose it all and be worse off.

If your Money Blueprint is based on lies, myth and fear….money becomes a curse rather than a blessing and you become worse off with the more money.

If you think and believe money is not important…. well do you think you’ll ever do the necessary actions to receive more if it’s NOT important to you?

However, if your Paradigm or Blueprint is set to that of abundance, wealth, value creation and problem solving, you have an opportunity to be financially wealthy… if you take action and course correct properly as you move forward in yoru journey.

Remember, money is a byproduct, an effect, an end result. It is the result of creating value and then adding and distributing that value to the world. That value can be something people really want or can be solutions to major problems people have.

Everything we have today is the result of someone (what I call a CREATOR) creating value and/or solving problems.

The cell phone I use everyday is the result of someones idea and attempt to solve a problem. The problem was not being able to talk to friends, family and business associates unless I had money for a pay phone or was on or near a land line.

Now, I not only can talk to them, I can email, text, send pictures and keep my day planner and schedule, record voice memos and Google anything I want. I even have GPS on my phone. I traded my money for what I wanted and valued more than my money. . . it’s called a Blackberry.

In your job you are creating value for the company who is paying you. So if you want to make more money become more valuable to the company by increasing your knowledge, skills or what I call your HUMAN CAPITAL.

If you want to make a lot of money, learn what the rich do.

While poor people are looking for opportunities, rich people who I call Creators are looking for problems.

Where poor people look to avoid problems, Creators look to solve those problems.

Becoming the right type of person is what it is all about. If people focused on Creating Maximum Value for other people in all situations regardless of circumstance, what type of world would we have?

To be continued….
